SAP FI/CO Consultant

A leading investment and asset management organisation with a long-standing focus on sustainable and tangible asset investments, including real estate, renewable energy infrastructure, and industrial assets. Operating internationally, the business specialises in structuring and managing investment solutions for a broad client base.

The Finance Operations function is responsible for driving finance-related projects and process improvements, overseeing finance systems optimisation, and managing core financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account administration, financial reporting, annual accounts publication, and employee expense management.

• Acted as a proactive contributor to the evolution of finance business applications by identifying market trends, recommending enhancements, and introducing innovative process improvement ideas.
• Served as a key liaison between Finance and IT teams, gathering business requirements, asking critical operational questions, and coordinating system-related initiatives.
• Analysed existing finance workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation, supporting continuous process improvement across the function.
• Provided functional support for finance applications, ensuring operational stability through detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and enhancement recommendations.
• Delivered user training and ongoing support to business teams, acting as a trusted point of contact for finance systems and processes.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial management systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience using SAP platforms, particularly finance and accounting modules.
• Commercial/business qualification and/or degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in German with strong professional communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
