Regional Innovation Booster & Investment Manager (m/f/d)

This role is ideal for someone early in their investment career who enjoys combining coordination, analysis and stakeholder management in a European innovation context.
Tasks
- Support oversight of Regional Innovation Booster (RIB) editions in pilot countries by monitoring progress, timelines, risks and mitigation measures, and by ensuring agreed processes are followed.
- Coordinate the work of the RIB Committee (agenda setting, materials, minutes, follow-up), ensuring effective implementation of the RIB Mechanism and the design of the RIB Lite Mechanism.
- Help establish and maintain processes and tools for tracking the growth of RIB ventures, including a dedicated RIB CRM and related dashboards.
- Contribute to internal processes that support sourcing of companies through RIB mechanism into EIT Health’s Business Creation portfolios and investment activities.
- Assist in collecting and structuring data for basic financial and traction analyses of RIB Health ventures (e.g. revenues, runway, funding history, KPIs) to inform investment recommendations.
- Monitor the progress of RIB ventures and help establish feedback loops.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Biology, Engineering or a related field in healthcare; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 2–5+ years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a comparable analytical investment role.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment transactions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, coordinating multi country work streams, and driving timelines and follow ups with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Experience working with early‑stage or growth‑stage technology, life sciences, or healthcare companies is an advantage.
