Aufgabengebiet

* Support Finance Director by bank’s statistics and prudential reporting (periodic and ad-hoc) incl. business control process with regard to review of returns and interpretation of regulatory changes.

* As an SME in German Reporting, assist the global Project Team with the following:

o Mapping BAIS templates for new products

o Update existing templates with any Regulatory Change

o Assist to build data sources to implement a strategic data feed solution to BAIS using international data

o Attend project workshops as required to provide SME knowledge on Regulatory Reporting subjects

* Ongoing engagement with 3rd Party Vendor (MSG) to ensure reporting software (BAIS) remains current and complete

* Support monitoring and implementation of new regulatory requirements

* Support and monitor service level agreements with other outsourcing partners (i.e. KPI monitoring for finance, reg reporting SOWs)

* Support day-to-day financial activities incl. payment process, journal bookings, reconciliation, monitoring of the nostro accounts and daily collateral report, internal management reporting

* Take part on preparation of annual accounts (German-GAAP & RechKredV), incl. preparation for the internal and external audits, drafting of the financial notes, management report and disclosure reports

* Backup for Finance Director or other team members during holidays / absence

Anforderungsprofil

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting in a bank and ideally finance accounting
  • German Regulatory Reporting Knowledge
  • Working experience with BAIS, understanding of BAIS reporting engine
  • German and English full professional language proficiency (written and oral)
